About My Dev Agents

Built by an agency, for every service business

We run a project-based agency. My Dev Agents is the operating system we needed and could not buy: win the work, price it defensibly, and see your margin before it's gone.

The problem

Service businesses find out whether a project made money after it ends

You quote a number in week one. Hours get logged, scope creeps, a freelancer gets pulled in, and the honest answer to "did that project make money" arrives months later, at month-end, from a spreadsheet somebody had to reconstruct. By then the margin is already gone and the next project is being quoted the same way.

The tooling makes it worse. Ops software for service businesses is a pile of point tools that do not share context: the PM tool does not know what was quoted, the invoicing app does not know who worked the hours, and every one of them has to be re-briefed on the same client. The people who could fix the numbers are too busy re-typing them between systems.

We felt both of those in our own agency. This product started as the internal system we built to stop it.

The bet

Three decisions the whole product hangs on

One OS, not a pile of point tools

Proposals, scopes, time, invoices and margin are one story about the same project. Splitting that story across a PM tool, a spreadsheet, an invoicing app and a chat thread is why nobody can answer the simple questions. So the bet is a single operating system: five departments, 16 modules, every one reading the same clients, projects and people.

Deep modules, not thin wrappers

Each module has to do the role's real work, not a demo of it. The clearest example is the Margin board: every project sorted worst first, quoted value against hours logged and what those hours cost, with a projection of where each one lands. That is the standard the other modules are built to.

Honesty in the product

A suspiciously good margin usually means missing data, so the board flags what it does not know instead of flattering you. Intake sends anything uncertain to a review queue rather than guessing on money. The Operator is read-only and shows every source it checked. Trust is a design decision, not a marketing line.

Where it stands

16 modules live, and the doors are open

Today the OS runs 16 modules across five departments: New Business, Delivery, Money, People, Brain. They are live in the product and you can start on them now. We are early, so there are no testimonials on this site and no customer counts, and there will not be until they are real numbers rather than flattering ones.

The prices on the pricing page are what you pay. There is no free plan — there is a 14-day trial of the entire OS, with card details taken at checkout, nothing charged until day 14, and no charge at all if you cancel before then.
